Hinterstoder natural toboggan run

The Loigistbahn is a wide night toboggan run in Hinterstoder (Pyhrn-Priel region / Upper Austria). It is only one kilometer long, but is illuminated until 11 p.m. if there is enough snow. Anyone who does not want to walk up can order a toboggan taxi on 07564/5159. Access to the start at 770 m is via the toll road Höss Panorama Bergstraße (approx. 3 km from the Landhotel Gressenbauer – green line on the Google Map). With an average gradient of 15%, the toboggan run is challenging but not yet a racing toboggan run. In any case, you should wear very good shoes for safety reasons so that you can still brake well when the toboggan run is icy.

Right next to the finish at 620 m is the Landhotel Gressenbauer (toboggan rental), where you can have a cozy rest after tobogganing. The Landhotel Gressenbauer is located about 1 kilometer before Hinterstoder if you arrive from Windischgarsten via Vorderstoder.
